Our Commitment
We take a strong stance in supporting the research of breast cancer. Choosing to purchase any of our sugar scrubs means choosing to make a difference in the lives of women everywhere. For each sugar scrub sold, Essentially Smooth donates part of the proceeds to a top rated breast cancer foundation.
About the Fight Against Breast Cancer
It has been estimated that 5 million women will continue to be diagnosed with breast cancer over the next 25 years. It has also been predicted that 1 in 8 women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
Breast cancer foundations from around the United States help to fight these diagnoses worldwide. They do this by contributing to breast cancer research, as well as contributing to care for existing breast cancer patients.
Our Contribution
We contribute to breast cancer foundations that Charity Navigator considers being excellent organizations in terms of financial health and efficiency. These organizations must have lower administration costs and higher program expenses comparative to the industry average.
We feel that helping support organizations that makes such a strong commitment to bettering the lives of breast cancer patients around the world is very important. That is why for each sugar scrub we sell, we will donate 10% of the retail price towards the fight against breast cancer.
